COBBS demonstrates QinetiQ's X-Nets

At a closed meeting in Paris this month, with more than more than 30 international intervention units present, COBBS Industries and QinetiQ have successfully demonstrated the QinetiQ`s X-Nets. Both a heavy coach and truck have been successfully stopped simulating a hijacked school bus and a truck used as a Vehicle Born Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED).

The X-Net® Vehicle Arresting Systems can fully arrest a range of vehicles using a unique spiked net design. The non-lethal system is man portable, can be deployed in a matter of seconds and causes minimal damage to target vehicles.
